Privacy Policy

Account information: when you sign up (email, or an anonymous guest account) and complete onboarding, we store your username, gender, dating preferences, birthday (used only for age verification and never shown publicly), bio, and profile photo.

Location: with your permission, we use your device's GPS location (latitude/longitude) to show you nearby matches and streams. Location access is optional and can be turned off at any time in your device settings or the app's Profile screen.

Content you create: messages (text, photos, videos, voice notes), live streams, group posts, swipes, matches, blocks, and reports.

Usage data: technical information such as device type, app version, and interaction logs used to keep the service secure and working.

To provide matching, chat, live streaming, and group features.

To show your profile to other users based on your preferences and approximate distance.

To power optional AI features (compatibility insights, icebreakers, bio writing).

To enforce safety rules, investigate reports, and prevent abuse.

To send push notifications about new matches and messages, if you enable them.

Other users can see your username, profile photo, bio, gender, approximate distance, and online/last-seen status. Your exact birthdate, email, and precise GPS coordinates are never shown to other users.

Users you have blocked cannot message you, and you cannot message them, until you unblock them.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that operate the app on our behalf (cloud hosting, database, media storage, live-stream infrastructure, AI providers, and push-notification delivery), and only to the extent needed to provide the service.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users.

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen or via our account deletion page, which removes your profile, matches, and messages according to the deletion policy described there.

We use encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database, and private, access-controlled storage for chat media. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

LovelyMatch is strictly for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and accounts found to belong to minors are removed.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from within the app, or by contacting us. You can also withdraw location permission and disable notifications at any time.

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be announced in the app. Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@lovelymatch.app.
